The city of Stuttgart is the home of Porsche and Mercedes-Benz and known to car enthusiasts all over the world. Spectacular museums show automotive history and
give an idea of the automobile future. Next to innovation and production, many palaces in the old town and surrounding show the historic importance of Stuttgart.
In the surrounding of the city, vineyards invite for a glass of local wine and food.
Stuttgart is a city of stairs
The city is built upon a large number of hills which is one reason for the large number of vineyards. To help people get up and down these hills each day, Stuttgart has more than 400 sets of outdoor stairs. If you would climbed all of them, you would climb in total about 20 kilometres.
Car lovers dreams
The themed rooms at the V8 Hotel are individually designed and equipped with unique pieces linked to car history. A variety of furniture and beds, using real vehicle parts, make a car lover’s dream come true. A special highlight is the V12 Mercedes-Suite in a former airport tower with a fantastic view.
Beerfestival Cannstatter Wasen
The Cannstatter Wasen is as large as the Oktoberfest in Munich. It is a traditional festival – this beerfestival celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2018. Tickets and tents are still available for the Wasen 2019.
Sabina, our Projekt Manager, recommends:
An interesting way of sightseeing is to follow the many „Stäffele“ stairs in Stuttgart that are connected to the best delicacy of the city: wine.
If that’s not enough, there’s also a wine museum where you can – of course – also try various regional wines!
